How to Quit Smoking? That is the million dollar question, with many different answers that have been floated over the years. According to the American Heart Association, “In the United States, an estimated 25.9 million men (23.9 percent) and 20.7 million women (18.1 percent) are smokers. These people are at higher risk of heart attack and stroke”.
With such a large population of smokers, not only in the USA, but worldwide there is no wonder there are so many products on the market to help people stop smoking. From nicotine gum to Neuro Linguistic Programming there is a smoking cessation program out there for everybody.
With a father who smoked all his life and died of cancer in 2007 and a 26 year old daughter who is following his path, I as well as millions of Americans are looking for a solution to the deadly smoking habit. As I type this posting my daughter is litterally coughing on the sofa in the other room.
I see an ad on television for MyTimeToQuit.com. The site promotes a product called Chanix. According to the site ”CHANTIX® (varenicline) is a prescription medicine to help adults 18 and over stop smoking. You may benefit from quit-smoking support programs and/or counseling during your quit attempt. It’s possible that you might slip up and smoke while taking CHANTIX. If you do, you can stay on CHANTIX and keep trying to quit”.
MyTimeToQuit.com promotes a statistic that 44% of chantix user are able to quit smoking after 12 weeks of taking the medication. That’s well and good if you are part of that 44%, but what about the other 56%?
After buying my unemployed daughter two packs of cigarettes today, I told her I would never do it again. I will do whatever it takes to help her in her attempt at quitting smoking. My next step is to get my daughter the Quit Smoking Today program. It has been extensively tested on over 5000 smokers. The results were outstanding with a success rate of 99.7% of the smokers that were tested managed to Quit Smoking for at least 1 month, with just listening to the smoking cessation recording once! Successfully 97.2% of the original 5000 have not smoked for over 6 months, since the test started. Visit quit-smoking-expert.com
